Stemming from recent aquaculture legislation, the Maine Land and Water Resource Council will under take a study of bay management. Taken directly from the language of LD 1857, An Act to Implement the Recommendations of the Task Force on the Planning and Development of Marine Aquaculture in Maine, “The intent of this study is to explore and document potential new and innovative concepts for the management of Maine’s embayments through a 2-year pilot initiative.”
